The Tower of Pointless Endeavors

Somewhere in Missouri, there is a concrete tower that houses a DARK MAN! He is trapped in an endless cycle of climbing up, and being devoured or begifted by a strange presence. Each time, he believes there is something more.

None of this is, of course, presented within the game itself. What's the point? Just descend into madness already, who gives a shit.
